“Fantastic weekend getaway, so tranquil and beautiful! We loved the off-the-beaten-path location, but still only 9 miles from town to get meal supplies. We enjoyed seeing bunnies, a fawn, a fox, squirrel, and a variety of birds.The dual-hotplate and toaster oven perfectly met our needs in the kitchenette that had the just right amount of cooking/dining items for our group, and we made good use of the outdoor grill and fire pit. “The house was great. It was right on the river with nice views from many of the rooms. The interior was wonderful, had beautiful vintage furniture, and in good shape. The kitchen felt spacious and had all the expected appliances. There was plenty of room for our group of nine. There were two things that we thought differed from the description that did not affect our trip much, but we are listing them here to share. One, the BBQ is not propane, it is charcoal.
