We enjoyed the ice bucket pond, which was a hit with the kids for both swimming and canoeing. The hikes around the area were beautiful, and we had a blast with the various yard games provided. We had originally planned to visit the nearby racetrack, but Brookledge was so charming and engaging that we ended up spending our entire weekend on-site. It truly felt……

“The residence was beautifully appointed. It was spotlessly clean. And there was every item in the house that you could imagine. We had business to attend to nearly every day so it was nice to come home to such a lovely place.However, we found two minuses that are actually kind of dangerous. The step leading into the front of the house and the back are extremely high-abt 14" high. I actually fell as my right foot did not clear the step. Unfortunately, I fell. Luckily just a few scrapes.
