“I stayed in the suite with a kitchen and I have to say I’m glad I did. With Oaxaca being a place know for good eats, at times there’s leftovers and with the microwave there it was perfect to reheat some food. Half a block away there’s a restaurant Jardon which was delicious, plus a small store to stock up the fridge. All of this is walking distance, the person to receive us also recommended a Taxi as we needed one to arrive to a wedding we attended. I would stay here again for sure, plus Super……

“Great apartment up on a hillside with a sweeping view of Oaxaca city. The unit is comfortable, well appointed and has a top floor terrace, very nice for enjoying morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the city. Emily and her father, Anthony are wonderful hosts. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Angela ensured we were comfortable and well supported on our return trip to her lovely home. We enjoyed the neighborhood and beautiful walk into town along the aqueduct so much, with all of the street art, the local church activities, the daily bustle of street life (including the local tamale and quesadilla sellers), and the new restaurants and cafes that keep popping up. In about 20 minutes we could walk to most places we enjoy in Oaxaca -- a perfect distance for us.We were regularly supplied……

“I stayed for 6 nights and explored Oaxaca city and the surrounding area. This place was perfectly located in the artsy area of the city. There is not a ton of natural light in the main room and middle bedroom, but I stayed in the room with lots of light facing the front entrance and it was duvine. It was great having a kitchen and coffee pot for saving on eating out! But eat out a little as the food in Oaxaca is amazing. ”

“Such a good choice: - 2 couples, each of us had our own "wing", bathroom and sense of privacy- patio/deck is expansive, well furnished in shade and in the sun and at night. It is indeed a beautiful view.- All the furniture, art and kitchen stuff felt more like a home than a rental place. Good taste, but not pretentious.- Very responsive host, daily check ins over the course of our week there.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a lot of street noise as it’s such a great central location. I found it easy to sleep just by running the fan as white noise and there are fewer cars and noisy passers-by overnight anyway. The courtyard is beautiful and although our trip was packed with activities so we didn’t spend much time at the house other than to sleep, we’d stay again. Moises was very helpful and responsive. “Small home with very outdated bathrooms and kitchen. Would not recommend for families. Kitchen is not suited for cooking. One bathroom was small that needed to sit sideways on toilet. Faucet with barely flowing water. The property manager was very kind but the home needs full reno.”
