The Tarabino is a grand old Victorian and the Garden Suite was on the first floor with a very pleasant sun patio with access to the back gardens. The large, well appointed bathroom with a claw footed tub is down a short hallway and is for exclusive use by our suite. We also ventured upstairs to take in the lovely view from the balcony. Everything was very clean. The one unavoidable problem we encountered is that there are a LOT of steps up from the street parking to the front door.
Unfortunately, our hostess had a family emergency prior to our arrival so we never actually met anyone. We had a number we could call for emergencies and were offered access to the kitchen so we could make ourselves breakfast. This was clearly an unavoidable situation which was handled with grace.
The Tarabino Inn is a great place to stay for a glimpse into the past.
