“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin outside of Trinidad. It is very, very small, but it suited our needs. The hostess left snacks, fruit, muffins, and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which we really appreciated. We often sat out on the large covered deck to enjoy a great view of the lake, which was what we were aiming for. (You cannot enjoy this view from inside unless you are sitting at the kitchen bar. But that was ok with us, because we had pretty good weather for sitting……

“My D&D team has been playing online for 3 years. This September we decided it was time for a face to face. Between all of us we span 3 states so this VRBO was the place to meet. (A mere 11 hour drive for everyone) This House was perfect for us. Plenty of space for the 8 of us. The dinning room table was amazing, the kitchen was big. This place was great. We never felt like we were bumping into each other. My only non happy part about this was before i booked i had a question and it took forever……

This place is for the nature lovers 🌲 the ones who do NOT want to be connected to a TV or phone 😊 Great trails on the property to go explore and listen to the wind blow through the trees. Terrific deck with lots of seating to enjoy the view of the Spanish Peaks! Craig and Judy are exceptional hosts and always take great care of us! ”

“I was in town for gravel biking. The room and its location was perfect. Easy walk to all the downtown restaurants. Quick access to the biking routes. Theresa found room in her shed to store my bike. Theresa was helpful with advice and history. Enjoyed my stay.”

“We found this CUTE Tiny Home and planned our vacation around it. There’s Trinidad Lake and Raton Mesa near it. The town has lots of shopping! We loved Mutiny and Whispering Wind. We drove a couple hours to see the Great Sand Dunes where we rented a sled at a fantastic vodka distillery called Dune Valley Distillery. We also visited Desert Reef Hot Springs. Everyday we came back exhausted to our perfect Tiny Home! We were able to eat home cooked meals the whole time. It was perfect! I even……
