“This was a beautiful home set in the nicest town. Our first trip to NY and this was the best part of it all. Waking up every morning to the beautiful views, and deer in the backyard made our stay feel so relaxing. The home was very spacious and comfortable. It had eveything we needed and more. Every room was spacious and the beds were so soft, we fell right to sleep. We were here for our boys All Star Village baseball tournament and we were five minutes away which made commuting back and forth……

“Scott & Ann were both super communicative. All pictures matched the property, and our stay was perfect. With the snow over the weekend, Scott was nice enough to plow the driveway for us on the Sunday morning. Everything was great! We used the firepit, the sleds, the pool table. Only downside is no cell coverage in the area, but WiFi was enough for us! They had Roku, lots of games, and plenty of space to accommodate my group of 22 people. We never felt like we were on top of eachother, which was……

“The house is a unique property filled with hand made woodwork, a gorgeous fireplace, tons of light, and wonderful views of the river. My friends and I loved the place! Candy, who manages the property was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely rent it again. ”

We were looking for a cozy cabin with a fireplace/stove and some outdoors for our dog. This was exactly what we wanted. I was able to do some excellent trout fishing nearby and some great hikes on DEC trails in State Forests, which were right up the road. “The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

“House and property were beautiful ! We had a plumbing issue and it was addressed immediately . The sliding glass door is difficult to open and close . The kayaks were hard to take out and it was very muddy and shallow .( I think because we are only in April !) I’m sure it’s a lot easier in the summer ! But once in and got going we caught a fish ! ”
