Incredible mountain view. This magnificent designed hill-top home has great view of the ski-slope in Tahoe Donner, and is within walking distance to the Tahoe Donner Downhill skiing (one of the best ski resorts in Tahoe for families with young children). This fully-equipped home has a bright open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and high-quality finishes.

Spacious and flat driveway with plenty of parking and two car garages provide easy access. The Master Suite is on main level, spacious great room, two guest bedrooms and bathroom. Downstairs boasts a huge family room, large bedroom, full bath and an office currently used as the 5th bedroom. House comes turnkey including hot tub, pool table, poker / game table, flat screen TVs and fully equipped kitchen. Wood vaulted ceilings in the great room and vaulted ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms. Large, sunny upper deck and natural landscaped area accessible from lower level.
Nearby amenities: Tahoe Donner community gym, pool, fitness center, golf, tennis courts, downhill skiing, cross-country skiings and much more! Guests can enjoy the recreational facilities at the Tahoe Donner Association with small fees.

No pet, no party and no smoking.

At entry level:
- Flat driveway and 2-car garage with easy access from road.
- An entry area connects the 2-car garage with the living area. The area is equipped with a washer and a dryer.
- A large living room that is equipped with a TV, fireplace and a sofa, a love chair and chairs. Both kitchen and dining area are open to the living room. The dining table can sit 10 people.
-A kitchen has granite counter tops and it is equipped with stainless steel appliances. including a fridge, a microwave, an oven, a gas stove-top. The kitchen has an eat-in counter with 2 bar stools.
-A master bedroom has a King bed, a TV in the cabinet. The master bathroom with travertine floor has separate shower, double sinks and a jetted tub.
-Two more bedrooms with a share bathroom. One of the bedrooms has 2 Twin bunk bed (4 twin beds) and the other has a Queen bed (a folding bed in the closet too if needed). The shared bathroom has a combined shower/tub and double sinks.
- A large deck that has magnificent panorama view of the mountains


At lower Level:

- A large family room with a TV, sofas, fireplace, pool table, poker table perfectly for games and entertainment.
- Fourth bedroom with a King bed.
- Office currently used as a 5th bedroom with a Full-Twin bunk bed and single sofa bed and access to deck and backyard.
- Full bathroom at lower level with shower/Tub.

- A hot tub is also located on the deck with sweeping views of the mountains.

Your reservation includes two guest passes for Tahoe Donner, which allow a total of eight guests to access the Trout Creek Recreation Center for a nominal daily fee per person. We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and nice and worked well, the kitchen was well outfitted, and the snow shovels came in handy. The electronically controlled fireplaces (upstairs and down) were a particularly nice luxury.

Not as expected

Was hoping past reviews of those ‘complaining’ about lack of towels, that this would no longer be a case. Sadly not so. When on vacation for 6 days, being limited to one washcloth, hand towel and bath towel per person.I do not want to have to wash towels that much. If doing all towels, going to bathroom, needing to wash and dry hands, while all towels are in machine. A few more washcloths and hand towels would be nice. Very few Hangers. No closet in the master bedroom for guests. Yes, dressers with drawers, but I like to hang my clothes. You have closets, need hangers available. Photos were misleading. Things appear bigger and better. Blinds all raised for pictures. Maybe because they were old and not in great condition. Wanted to sit outside on deck, but too dirty; and didn’t want to bring in the so called heavy pollen season into the home. I didn’t notice heavy pollen season elsewhere. The host quickly answered any concerns, but didn’t completely follow through on one issue. Be aware there is air conditioning, but not on bottom floor as we believed it would be. The ‘couch’ in basement office/bedroom was broken. Tiny empty liquor bottles in it when opened. Ice in freezers should have been emptied before new guests, instead of one solid chuck. May seem petty to some, but I payed high price(over $900 night) for what I thought I was getting. Home was okay, a bit outdated, few cobwebs. If all this doesn’t bother you, you will be okay. I will not do again.

Wonderful early summer getaway!

We had an absolutely amazing early summer getaway at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The house is clean and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, nestled near beautiful hiking trails that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring each day. Lake Tahoe is just a short drive away, offering stunning views and a perfect spot for refreshing outdoor activities. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub—soaking in it while enjoying the mountain views was pure bliss after a day of hiking. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way, combining cleanliness, proximity to nature, and great amenities for a memorable and relaxing vacation. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic Stay Close to Donner Ski Resort!

I had a fantastic experience at this place near Donner Ski Resort. The property was impeccably clean, the check-in process was seamless, and its proximity to the ski resort added immense convenience. The thoughtful touch of providing a guest pass by the host was a delightful gesture, adding an extra layer of hospitality to our stay. Perfect getaway

Our stay at the ski house was delightful! The host, despite the hefty 8-foot snowfall challenge, managed well with snow removal. The host of this property deserves accolades for their exceptional service, especially when I reached out for a last-minute booking due to a power outage at my original stay. Their responsiveness and tentativeness made the transition seamless. As for the property itself, cleanliness was impeccable, creating a welcoming environment. Overall good place

Nice layout location and size. Lacking quite a few checked boxes to make it a perfect stay. Garage door barely worked, hot tub cover had issues, kitchen was very lacking, and the stuff that was there was not great (like the cooking pans were probably older than me). No pack n play? Come on all places should just have one in the closet. We bought one and left it there for future guests. You’re welcome :)

MUST READ !!!

The house was beautiful and spacious, however upon arriving we noticed the house was very dirty and not cleaned properly. The dishes put away were dirty including pots and pans. The blinds were filled with dust upon opening like they have never been dusted before there was rat traps in the master bedroom under neither the night stand . There was not enough towel for the stay when reared out for more I was told I could revive them for an extra charge I paid over 5k for us to be limited to 2 towels per couple !!!! The downstairs bedroom with king bed lines were dirty and smelled like urine ! Had to remove them and wash them ourselves . As if that wasn’t enough now we are being charged for a lock that was open when we arrived in the kitchen storage closet, a hot tub water leveler and bed frame repair in the queen size bedroom in the main floor. I’m unsure how a senior couple could ruin a bed frame ! The hot tube was only used 1x and somehow the water leveler is needing replacement !!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE we rent a cabin 1x a year always have amazing experiences we like to rent different houses each year for fun and this one was the ONLY NEGATIVE AND WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!

Beautiful Retreat

Beautiful location with breathtaking views. Running stream nearby was relaxing to hear. The club house pool and activities were good bu was $20 pp. Loved the downstairs poker and pool tables.the town of Truckee is charming and this property is close to Tahoe. Hiking was also beautiful! Lots of space

The house is beautiful, just like pics. But, one of the window panes over the kitchen sink was shattered, there's no bath mat for the primary bath, and the beds are very firm. Location is great for riding Tahoe Donner ski area, but it's 15 min to get to Truckee.

Great family getaway in the snow!

We had a great stay in this spacious property. The house is clean and nicely decorated. The house has two levels with two living areas which is perfect for our family. The beds are super comfortable and I even asked the host about the mattresses they used! The hot tub is a great hit after a full day of skiing. A+++ property! Will definitely stay again.

Great Getaway for a group of friends

We had a great stay at this house. We love the two level layout which gives everyone enough room. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot! We are lucky that it snowed heavily during our stay and the place is beautiful! The host is nice to answer all our questions. A+++ place to stay!

We had a great stay. The house is conveniently laid out for multiple families with kids and was very clean. I think it could use more supplies, for example, soap, extra sheets, and towels. Other than that, would stay again!

Truckee rental

The house was in a great location. It was definitely fun having a pool table, hot tub and two living spaces. It would have been nice to have it stocked better with toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies and a better stocked kitchen. We barbecued and there was no metal spatula. It was missing a lot of kitchen items to cook. But all I’m all a fun house to rent.

Summer Family Reunion

We loved staying in this beautiful home! Plenty of space for three married couples and our four grandchildren. Easy main floor access for our granddaughter who is in a wheelchair. Loved the view through the large windows.
