“Very clean and comfortable house. Our family did not feel like we were staying in a rental property. The lake is located in a picturesque valley. The location is convenient to dining and shopping in Skaneateles. The house is located at the southern portion of Lake Otisco. This part of the lake has a mud bottom which does make the water very murky. The host is very accommodating. ”

“A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.”

“We loved our stay at The Pine Tree! It is conveniently located 2 minutes from Greek Peak. The listing accurately described the property and its included amenities. There were lots of extra towels and extra blankets. We appreciated that each room had a fan for use. Having 2 full bathrooms was incredibly helpful for our family of 5. It was clean and spacious! Check in and check out was a breeze. The thought that went into decorating this place is admirable; we just love it! Next time we’re back in……

“Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. ”

“This historical home was beautifully appointed. You had everything you could ever need plus the most beautiful furnishings, a sauna, and space for a family gathering. I enjoyed playing the piano and taking advantage of the vintage record collection on the amazing speakers. Walk to The Exchange for fantastic food and drinks or to the performing arts center to take in a concert. One of the best parts? The hosts. Their communication was stellar and they made sure everything was just right. You……

“A little bit hard to find the entrance that's behind the barn. The whole place was clean. Had a setup that was sufficient to cook or stay for a long time. I was only there for 2 days but the kitchen had an oven and other appliances. Brightly lit during the day from the windows and just a nice little stay.”

“Our family of five had another place booked for a ski trip to Greek Peak, and that reservation fell through the day before our trip, due to a problem at the house. After scrambling through VRBO, we found this house and were able to book it last minute. What luck that turned out to be! The house is warm and inviting, really well furnished and stocked, couches and beds both super comfy, and the fireplace completes the vibe. The back porch overlooks Song Lake, which is as beautiful as its name.……
