“I LOVED this cabin! It was exactly the cabin feel I was going for on my solo mom-vacation. Instructions were simple and I had everything I needed. Perfect location, far off in the woods. The host wasn’t joking when she said you need 4WD - the dirt/gravel road is about 2 miles, with lots of steep inclines. My 4WD handled it fine, just be aware. I will absolutely be back!! “It was a beautiful, peaceful cabin, surrounded by nature. Two fawns came across the property every morning just before sunrise and hung around for almost an hour. Communication with the host was easy with prompt responses. Hot showers after long hikes, a kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils and gadgets you could possibly need, and easy instructions to enjoy the amenities.I do recommend taking walking sticks if you walk the Lake Adger Trail. From the house, there are major hills covered……

Its remote location added to the charm for us, offering peace, privacy, and a true getaway from the everyday.The gate at the property entrance can be a bit cumbersome, but we appreciated the added sense of security and felt it was worth the effort to keep it locked.One small note for future guests: while there is a charcoal grill available, charcoal is not provided, so plan accordingly if you’re hoping to……

“Check in was simple and efficient, and our host was an timely communicator. The house is clean and spacious with ample in and outdoor space for lounging. Very dog-friendly front and back porch. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, plenty of linens. The creek is just behind the house and provides for a lot of fun exploring. I would highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking to stay in the area!”

“Clean property. Hot tub was nice! Deck needs alittle love but was still nice to be outside. The screened in area needs some work to be safe for little ones. Inside is rustic and homey. Older cabin floors are creaky makes it hard to not wake others if you are an early riser lol. Overall great place to celebrate my birthday with family. ”
