The staff was very helpful helping us finding other methods of getting to Kanazawa apart from JR. But finally we decided to stay in the same place and same hotel for one more night instead. And the location is excellent! Just next to JR station! But the only not convenient is not much dining choice in a small town like this. ”

“The people is extremely warm and welcoming, including reception and the lady serving us from check in to dining. The young lady can speak english, we have a great time there. We use the public onsen before dinner so there are not much people. The private onsen in the room also great, but will be a bit small if two people bath together. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want to experience Japanese traditional onsen culture and dining. ”

"Very good location being just next to the Fukui train station. The staff were very professional and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, well provided with everythimg travellers would need. The only setback being the "too stylish" design of the shower faucet, which was hard to turn on when your hand is soapy!"
