“ It was a quiet area, but I did not feel secure due to the close proximity of the neighbors. The house could use some extra TLC when cleaning it. The front porch was cluttered with a couple of jars of liquid (possible bug traps?), the dryer that resembles the one inside the house in the pictures as of 10/9/24, and a bowl full of cigarette butts. “We really enjoyed our stay at Pilot Cove. The cabin we stayed in, #260, felt very private as it was at the top of the hill. Beautiful cabin with everything you need. I would recommend bringing your own pillows, they were a little flat. But the bed was bug and comfortable! Great stay, will definitely be back! ”

“We Loved the location. Very close to downtown. There was some construction down the street but we didn’t hear it. All we heard were the birds. Hosts were great at communicating. Its a modest home but felt very roomy. The bathrooms were very nice. ”

“We had a weekend family stay. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken and overfull of dirty and smelly dishes. There was loads of trash under beds and the few towels that were clean actually smelled so bad when used. That said, the owner did refund our cleaning fee, when asked. It appears the dishwasher has been out of commission a while, it would have been helpful to know and we would have brought disposable goods.The property itself is lovely and my kids enjoyed exploring around the creek and……

“This is the perfect location for a quick getaway. I was at another location for a college reunion, and my husband stayed here. It was the ideal lodging for him to rest between rambling around the mountains and Brevard. He enjoyed meeting the hosts and their farm animals. ”

“Wonderful location. Great condo with an open layout and nice big windows. Fair price for the area and the waterfall was sweet icing on top of an already delicious cake! Missing it already. “The owners and our wonderful breakfast maker are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It's a very nice place to stay while enjoying the many hikes in the area (Rainbow Falls, etc.). Comfort was great except that our room and bathroom were a bit crowded for my husband who is larger. The walls are thin if you have neighbors. The facilities are relaxing and nice. We enjoyed a nice (expensive) Italian meal at a fine restaurant next door. ”
