“This is a beautiful place to stay, hidden away from the city. It feels like you have been invited to stay in your best friends house, but they provide amazing food. The room i stayed in had a balcony, and I was able to stand outside as the sun set, listening to the call to prayers. There is one thing: you must be able to carry bags up tight stairways. My suitcase was 60 lbs (23 kg) and i needed help. But I can't wait to return!”

The rooms are spacious and full of traditional charm, and the rooftop terrace overlooking the medina is just stunning. Breakfast deserves its own shoutout — it’s not a buffet but a sit-down meal that’s so delicious and generous I didn’t need to eat again for the rest of the day! The Wi-Fi works perfectly too, which isn’t always a given in historic buildings. But what……
