“This property is spacious and just steps away from the heart of downtown Helen, and we walked everywhere on this trip. One caution...the walk into town is mostly downtown, so walking uphill back to the cabin could be problematic for guests with mobility issues. We would definitely return to Delaine's Retreat for another stay!”

“Easy walking access to the main highlights of downtown Helen. Could get a bit nosiy due to nearby guests at other locations, but loved being right atriver and able to walk to many shops and restaurants. ”

“ Spent a lot of time in the rockers on the front porch! Very comfortable and clean cabin. Hot tub was crystal clear and worked well! Would visit again if in the area. Some GREAT hiking spots that were super close to the cabin! ”

“What a fantastic and peaceful location! This was exactly the sort of getaway we needed! The cabin is perfect for two, with plenty of cozy couches and a giant bed. AC/Heating worked well and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed for minimal cooking.However, there were 2 major issues. 1: the bathroom smelled like pee - especially the shower area. It was so bad, we took the shower curtain down and washed it; That helped a little bit, but clearly the pee had gotten on other things. There was……

“Hot tub pump would come on about 10 pm and stay running for about 4hrs.it was noisy and right by the bedroom. Also it sounded like rodents running around in the attic crawl space at night.”

“Stayed here for a few days and it was a wonderful spacious spot, getting in the community is easy as long as you follow instructions, hot tub had some issues, but was still able to enjoy it with some specific instructions from host, and host ensured he will make that they get it fixed.
