“Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable.”

“The hotel is located in perfect location, super easy to find. The room size is good and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel offers breakfast which is amazing with lots of variety of choices. The only concern I want to raise is that the room was extremely hot even though the temperature was set at 19 degree. I want sure if it is because the roll was facing the west side. “住宿樓下是酒吧聚集地晚上樓下聲音非常清楚如果不好入眠的人不推薦我們是每天玩得很累可以直接倒下房間不大但放了沙發跟茶几桌讓整個房間沒有地方放打開的行李顯得空間不足價格非常便宜，到各景點也不遠”

"The hotel is big with lots of rooms but the rooms are arranged in a way that there are lots of corridors and it may be difficult to locate a room. Rooms are clean and stylish, with reasonable space in this expensive city. Room facilities are also good. However, staff if the reception is not helpful. We asked for their help to call taxi to go to airport on our date of departure but he seemed not willing to do so. Although he agreed to call taxi for us, we eventually waited for half an hour with no taxi coming. The staff was not willing to help us follow up with the taxi company even on our repeated requests. We eventually need to find taxi on the street on our own. Service is a big issue."
