“Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days.”

“Cass and Charlie’s stone cottage is a brilliant spot to day trip from that offers a quiet home nestled into incredible countryside.The cottage is roomy, beautifully appointed and amazing walks are right outside your door.Coffee in the morning in the courtyard and a stroll to say hello to the sheep, cows, horses, rabbits and pheasants were a smashing start to each day.We loved every minute with Cass and Charlie. “Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was able to see local interests and the wonderful fresh air, excellent countryside. The ruin of Carmicheal House makes me wonder at its one time beauty, and it's just a short walk to from the cottage,……
