“My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. This Lake House was such a cool change for us. There is a whole floor devoted to games like pool, ping pong and foosball. My 14 year old loved this. We spent a lot of time playing. The house itself is quite lovely. It was super clean and didn’t feel like a rental. The furniture is rustic with a southwestern vibe which I loved.The……

“We had a great time. Enjoyed the cabin, scenery, fire pit, woods, horses, and the calmness of the area. Lots of stores close by and Asheville was about 45 minutes away. Lots of hiking and wilderness things to do about 15 minutes away. Host was very responsive and property was awesome!”

“Kirk’s place was exactly what we wanted. He was very responsive, had an issue with water and he fixed it right away. Everything was wonderful. The only drawback was very little water pressure. The hot tub was nice and hot and the cabin was very well stocked! We will be back! ”

“Amazing trip to the little moose Cabin over spring break. The cabin is the perfect location, in the woods and private but 15 minutes from all the downtown things you could want. Simms was a great host! Cabin was so cute and welcoming! Saw LOTS of bear which was amazing!! Had a great stay, definitely recommend”
