“nice and quite ”

“This house was amazing! It was the best cabin I have ever stayed in. The location was secluded on the river. You really never have to leave the house with all of the amenities provided. Fireplace, game room, hot tub, hammock. And the adoreable town of West Jefferson is only around 18 minutes away. We went to Grayson Hoghlands 30 minutes away for a hike and saw the wild ponies. Wonderful stay”

“Rental had a great location, was clean and well equipped. Owner was quick with communication and friendly. The only con we had on our trip was it is an apartment so if you do not have considerate people staying above you, it makes for some frustrating moments. Even with earplugs and sound machines on we could hear the thudding from the above neighbors and from the beach access gate slamming. So just something to think about if you’re a light sleeper. But other than that, had a wonderful weeks……

“My husband and I stayed two nights in the cabin while in the area for the Grayson Highlands 50-mile trail race. The cabin was so cute and cozy, clean, just as pictured. Incredible mountain views from the front porch and the hot tub, both of which proved key to my recovery the following morning! We cannot have had a more pleasant day, and would return here in a heartbeat when able. Such a gem. Thanks to the hosts for making it available.”

“This cabin provided us the perfect getaway. We wanted a weekend in the moutains with nothing but family time on the agenda, and this cabin was the perfect fit for us. Took our two littles (1.5 year old and 2 month old) and throughly enjoyed holding my babies during naps on the porch. Toddler ran around the porch, inside through the house and back out again pretty much the entire time. Loved the rocking chairs, cozy blankets, board games, and the fact it had everything to make it feel like home……

“This is a great place to stay! It's a cute tiny home in the middle of the woods with a river and wildlife. The only downside for me was the chairs in the 'living room'. I'm short and the head rest was above my head making them uncomfortable. However, I would definitely stay here again. A note to others that stay: there is a tiny dimmer for the lights on the side of the switch. ”
