We first stayed at this hotel in 2019 and liked it so we booked again. Our experience this time was not good. Check in went well. However, the evening shift was not very friendly or helpful. When asked about places in the area, they were unknowledgeable and quite frankly did not seem interested in assisting us. The rooms are only cleaned every other day and I get that, but if that is the policy, they should provide more towels in the room. It should not be the guest’s responsibility to hunt down towels on the second day. I found the breakfast to be below average. On the second day a little over an hour before the buffet was to close, they were already out of items with no moves to replenish. The quality of service at this hotel was not in line with the rate. The next time we are in Tyler, we will stay somewhere else.
