“We had an amazing time relaxing with family before school starts. The house had everything! It was very inviting and we felt right at home. Our kids loved the farm toys and the garage game room. Thank you for sharing your special space with us!”

“We had a very positive experience at this property in Yankton. We did wish for one more bathroom for our group of five people, but we made it work, and the rest of the stay was great. The house has its quirks in layout, but it is VERY clean and well equipped, and the beds and bedding were all very comfortable (my husband and I slept on the king-size bed). The house was well equipped and had little extras like soap and flossers available. We contacted the host, Mariah, following our first night……

“So when we pull up to the house, it looked a little different then the pictures. It had been painted white and I was not sure of the lay out. This could have been my apprehension from booking a property sometime ago on another site. But when we went in the place was great . The only complaint was that it smelled a little musty from probably being closed up for a few weeks after the usual lake season but once we opened a window and let the air circulate it was fine. Would highly recommend it .……

“We used this property as a family meeting place to enjoy Riverboat Days. There was plenty of room to spread out inside and gather together outside. We took advantage of the fire pit for an evening and the Blackstone to make breakfast! The house was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. We would highly recommend this to anyone and will definitely come back. ”

“The creek was very nice. Screened in back porch had view of creek which was fun. We also hung out on front porch a lot. The birds sang a lot and trees were pretty. Our host was always available for questions”

“Location, amenities, and layout of the house were amazing. Our family stayed a week and enjoyed the property. The downside for us is our pet and dust allergies. We assumed it was a pet-free environment since pets weren’t allowed, but there was evidence of pets having lived there. It was also a little dustier than we’d prefer with quite a few cobwebs downstairs. After I cleaned those things, we had a great, relaxing time!”

“This property is newly renovated and as described. The views from inside as well as on the deck offer a panoramic view of Lewis and Clark Lake with amazing sunsets every night. The main living area is spacious and allows for plenty of room to socialize with family and friends. The property is a short drive from the Lewis and Clark Visitor's Center, Calumet Bluff, South Shore access point, fishing beneath the Gavin's Point Dam as well as a swimming beach at the Cottonwood Campground area.”
