The best Villas for a romantic vacation

We got a very warm welcome from the staff when we checked in. I'm very appreciated for the upgrade. The room was very clean and beautiful. The private pool facing a river jungle valley let us can have relaxed time without any concern. BTW, Sankara's restaurant provide very great local food in reasonable price. All the staying experience would be perfect if the in villa Wi-Fi become more fast and reliable. The photo shooting service help us keep the amazing memory in Bali. I believe my wife and I will visit Sankara again very soon in the future.

The hotel was incredible! The most friendly and welcoming staff I’ve ever met. Such kind people who went above and beyond. The pool was beautiful and gym was great. The restaurant was delicious too! Highly recommend to anyone staying in Ubud. It was just outside the city center and very relaxing.

Wir waren circa eine Woche in der Unterkunft das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Sehr angenehm und entspannt. I would like to start by saying the staff was extremely friendly but it seems like the hotel itself lacks basic upkeep standards. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered several serious issues with the room given to us, that made it unsuitable for a comfortable stay. After inspecting the room, I noticed the following problems: * Mold and water damage on the walls and ceilings. * Dirty furniture and stained linens that don’t seem to have been properly cleaned. * Unpleasant odors and unmaintained plumbing, which have made the space feel unsanitary. * Other maintenance issues, including rust and grime around the bathroom. I’ve attached pictures with my review as well. I would not recommend staying here.

The staff were lovely however the property is tired, there was a musty damp smell in hallways and our room. We had to call staff maintenance staff several times to fix things. The property above our room (not part of Sankara) was very noisy on several occasions. We would not book again unfortunately.

Slightly mixed feelings on this one! This stay was really beautiful, the staff were amazing, the mocktails and smoothies were excellent, the room was comfortable and huge and the pool was gorgeous. It's really stunning. The food was pretty good. Overall it was really lovely and the area was quiet and peaceful, but still close to town. Loved that they offered yoga in the mornings too. However, we woke up to a rat in our room eating the complimentary fruit basket they gave us and some of our personal food. We showed the staff the rat chomped food (visible bite marks), and I don't know if this is a cultural difference but I felt like they either didn't believe us or just didn't care, which was jarring. They gave us a discount on our food, so about 10 ish USD. It's a very beautiful property and the staff is generally super friendly and kind, but I'm not sure if I'd return.

Bon hôtel dans l’ensemble mais…

Hôtel boutique en banlieue d’ubud Le cadre est agréable et le personnel agréable Nous avions une chambre jacuzzi qui était immense. Mais le jacuzzi prend une bonne heure à remplir donc pas grand intérêt au vue de la quantité d’eau utilisée et gaspillée. La navette est disponible a peu prêt toutes les deux heures pour le centre d’ubud sinon il faut bien 40 min à pied en marchant bien. Ou un taxi. Le point négatif à mes yeux est le petit déjeuner sur commande. Le choix est limité à 5 menus. Nous avons donc oscillé entre deux d’entre eux correspondant à nos goûts. Mais toujours le même choix. J’avoue préférer les buffets que je trouve plus pratique et variés en fonction des envies. De plus le premier jour le petit déjeuner a pris plus d’une heure à être servi. Les autres jours plus rapidement. La piscine se limite à une dizaine de transats vites pris d’assaut des qu’il fait beau Le spa est agréable et les massages très bon le tout face a la jungle, les prix cependant élevé par rapport aux spas en dehors. L’hôtel m’a cependant donné une réduction pour un massage à mon arrivée. On nous a offert un sac à l’effigie de l’hôtel en partant. Dans l’ensemble un cadre agréable à l’écart du centre animé.
