Excellent hotel for honeymoon

Really recommend this hotel! From the moment we got there, we saw how the staff was so helpful, professional and happy. They made sure we had the best days there. The hotel is amazing, the bedroom is wonderful (perfect for honeymoon) and the food was great!

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir hatten eine Pool Villa, das Zimmer war wie auf den Fotos, tolle Aussicht ins Valley und wir hatten regelmäßig Besuch einer Affen Familie, obwohl das Hotel so ruhig liegt sind es mit dem Transfer nur ca. 10 min. In die Innenstadt, zu Fuss ca. 40 min. Allerdings an einer stark befahren Straße deshalb nicht zu empfehlen Wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen

solid hotel. nice view from the rooms(after we moved from room 101 which is the typical first room = next to entrance, reception, restaurant). a bit outdated interior, especially in the rooms. very friendly proactive staff.

We enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay at Kayon Valley. The staff were all very attentive (we’d seen previous reviews mentioning being badgered by staff at breakfast about plans for the day with a ‘salesy’ slant but we found this not to be the case). Staff just wanted the guests to know what the hotel itself and surrounding area had to offer (free guided walks/free shuttles to and from Ubud centre, spa treatments, local attractions etc). We did not find it pushy (but can understand that others might) but clearly something the hotel management had instilled in its staff. Perhaps this could be eased off a little. Other than some very minor picky points (nowhere to hang hand towels, interior hall light switch being on the outside of the room, annoying bonfires making it untenable to enjoy the balcony at times) it was very well done. The safe in our room didn’t work but once we reported it, that was quickly remedied. The food was excellent, the monkeys that visit most mornings were cheeky and the welcome was very hospitable. They chime a gong when new guests arrive which is a nice touch. Great entertainment with local dances and a very talented duo of keyboard and vocals. If we’re back in Ubud, we’ll certainly stay here again.

Muy recomendable.

Hotel a modo de lodge situado en medio de la jungla y rodeado de naturaleza por todas partes. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas a la selva y una pequeña piscina en la terraza. Todo es amplio y cómodo, y los productos de baño, buenos. La carta del restaurante, tanto para el desayuno como para el resto de las comidas, es muy variada y todo lo que probamos estaba bastante bueno. Ofrecen transporte gratis al pueblo y al otro hotel de la cadena o te proporcionan fácilmente servicios de traslado a precios aceptables.
