The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly.

Beautiful and peaceful setting, we loved sitting in the sunshine looking out over the lake. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We fully enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

Exceptional levels of care and efficiency from the staff. Spotless hotel, comfortable and quiet room with superb black out curtains. Slept really well. The food was nicely presented and of sufficient quality for us to eat entirely at the venue. Beautiful location on the lakeside, reluctant to leave!

Terrible attitude from barman when I returned a cloudy pint of beer, he poured me an alternative and tried to charge me for it! When the manager arrived to sort it out he told the barman to give me the exchanged beer, upon which he handed it over and said enjoy your FREE PINT. I was surprised when the manager just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. This is not the sort of behaviour I expect from such a beautiful hotel, I was very disappointed

Nice hotel in great position. Staff and service very good. Excellent pool and spa facilities. We had a problem with a hot radiator in our room which we couldn’t turn off and a leaking toilet cistern. Eventually sorted the next day when the maintenance staff available. Breakfast very good but was very disappointed with our evening diner. We had the cod which was very over salted. Fried custard for pudding, out of interest, which we didn’t enjoy. The fried breadcrumb coating tasted savory as if it had been fried in the same fat as savory dishes. Waitress who asked us if we had liked it was quite dismissive and not interested to hear our opinion as it wasn’t positive.
