“This was a perfect fit for our group of 7 people! The property was well maintained and clean. We had enough space to spread out and "party" as much as 50 & 60 year olds do. The kitchen layout works well for shared meals and many games played on the dining room table. The front deck is perfect for napping in Spring Sunshine.The "Amish Walmart" was a fun adventure and we found quite a few good deals. “We were fortunate to stay in Hillsboro Driftless Guesthouse while we explored the beautiful bicycle trails of the area. The home is spotless, well stocked, and very comfortable. Btw, just down the road, Mr Bs offers fresh meat and cheese snacks for the trail. ”

“Cozy cottage with enough room to sleep at least 10 people. Full kitchen to make all meals. Very clean and super cute. We had a relaxing couple of days over Thanksgiving weekend. It was cold but we hiked Wildcat Mountain, the Ice Cave Trail as well as many spots in the Kickapoo reserve. Beautiful Amish country with cool antique shops around. We visited Wildthings Furs right around the corner and bought affordable furs. We also found some treasures at the Amish Walmart. The reception is……

“My sister and I just had a girl’s weekend at this cozy cabin! It is much more spacious than what I thought it would be! The view was breathtaking (we used the binoculars in the kitchen many times to look at birds), the stars at night were spectacular, and the decor felt like home. We enjoyed a campfire one afternoon after exploring the nearby Pier County Park. We are already talking about a return visit! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us!”

Beautiful views of hilly landscapes from living room and dining areas. We expected the musty basement based on previous reviews. The house could greatly benefit from a dehumidifier down there. “The house was plenty big for our fairly large family with a lot of small kids. There was lots of seating in the two living rooms so everyone was comfortable. The basement was considerably colder than the rest of the house so that prevented us from spending much time down there. The game room would have been a nice feature if it was warmer down there. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils but didn’t have much for dish towels, rags, cleaning supplies, or other basics……
