“Close to WVWC”

“I’ve stayed here before so I wouldn’t have stayed here again if it was crappy. In the one category, I didn’t give it a 5star simply because it’s an older property and anyone should not expect a pristine facility because of its age. (If someone does, they are a whiner.). It’s a great location for my needs and the pricing doesn’t hurt either. The breakfast is more than basic and perfectly tasty. The management are pleasant and appear to be efficient and effective. I will definitely be back when……

“No bugs, beds a bit old but clean sheets and floors 👍 AC a little noisy but cooled the room quickly and stayed cold! Friendly and helpful staff.. left my charger in the room and one lady came out with it while we loaded the car! Would stay there again !”

“Cleanliness”

“Overall it was pretty good a few minimal issues. I contacted the property manager about the maintenance room and that there was a random light behind the locked door that goes on and off which was kinda weird but no reply. There was also one pillow case in the downstairs bedroom that had what looked like blood on it. There was a Mattress under the daybed which was actually a box spring with a pad on top not conducive to sleeping on. ”

“Very cute place. I love the artwork and pottery accented throughout. Cheyenne was a great host. We had a great stay despite the rain. ”

“Really great time. Our goal was to do nothing in the middle of nowhere and we did just that. The location is secluded and remote. Cell service is sketchy. Tv did not have streaming ability or the ability to mirror from your phone so if you want to watch movies being dvd’s. I wanted to read anyway. The hot tub was great. Perfect actually. Stargazing was exceptional. Couldn’t have been more quiet. If you’re looking for a secluded getaway in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, this is the place……

“This place is amazing! I went over Mother’s Day weekend and it was so peaceful and relaxing. I always travel well prepared and I was very pleased at how they had everything needed to stay here. Everything was top notch and if you forgot something, I’m sure they had it covered. Thank you for a such an amazing place to stay. I would definitely stay at your place again. ”
