“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. “House review The house was very clean, the best we ever rented in the last 20 years. However the house had problems. Of the five living room windows facing west to the lake, only one opened, and it was only about 10 inches. The living room A/C didn’t work well and the room was extremely hot with the sun shining directly in. The dark curtains which had to be closed to block the sun, made the room very depressing and unusable. They need to install awnings or add a porch with a roof on the……
