“Secluded and cozy! We stayed for a long weekend to check out the area. This was the perfect base for us as it was a quiet and peaceful respite at the end of each day. We loved sitting by the river each morning for coffee and enjoying the hot tub each evening as we watched for the bald eagle that cruised by along the river. It’s obvious Kaniz takes great pride in the property and ensuring a great stay. Kaniz was very responsive to a very minor issue we had with the tv and got it resolved quickly.……

“This property was everything and more then what was shown online. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the home was so homey feeling you felt right at home. It accommodated our bigger group perfect and was very enjoyable celebrating both our daughters birthday and Thanksgiving. “Fun tripA bit of a snag getting into unit but once the new code dropped I was able to get inGarbage cans outside were full and overflowing with trash all over drive, we cleaned it up and host had cans picked up next day.Interior was very clean, comforts beds Projection tv was great once figured out, the main controller is a bit finicky. Bathroom was very clean, however the toilet needs to be adjusted both inside the tank and to secure to floor, it was loose and rocked a bit when folks sat on it.……

“From the pictures online to being out there it was beautiful! There are neighbors but the views are blocked and they dont bother you at all. Might get a visit from a friendly puppy that just stopped by to say hey! Didnt catch any fish that was disappointing but, enjoyed the grill, hot tubandfire pit, and surrounding areas. Host was absolutely wonderful, communication, helping qith a few processes, suggestions and just overall amazing! Overall this is a tiny slice of heaven for getting out! ”

“We loved our stay! It was peaceful and relaxing. We loved how secluded it felt while being close enough for adventures. The scenery is beautiful. “The village retreat is a beautiful home with very thoughtful amenities. The welcome basket was full of goodies and a great start to the stay. This is a great place to stay for families with tweens and teens as we had ample usage of the ping pong table, croquet set, chess set, and fire pit. “We needed a large place to stay in order for our family to be together for my mother’s funeral. The house and condo were exactly as listed and pictured. “We came for our teenage son's 3-day wrestling tournament with 2 additional of his teammates; house is lovely, clean, spacious kitchen, 2 moms and 3 teens slept comfortably. There is a cute resident duck on the property, and we saw a family of deer the last morning. The owner is wonderful to communicate with and replied to all messages in a very timely manner. I would definitely stay here again when we find ourselves at another tournament in the area. ”
