Rooftop Hot Tub + Free Parking @ Renovated Condo in the Heart of Lionshead

Vail 21 condo 405 is a beautifully renovated condo that is only 75 yards from the Eagle Bahn Gondola. This condo has very good quality throughout and provides extremely easy and convenient access to Vail Resort, shopping, dining, and nightlife. Warm and inviting, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, a wood-burning fireplace, a private balcony, and mountain views that beckon you to venture out. There are two large bedrooms, each with a dedicated bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 Twins which can be converted into a King, complete with bed bridge, King size linens and duvet. When you're not out exploring, this condo is so nice that you will be content to relax in solitude, plan out your next day or whip up a great meal. Amenities include boot and glove dryers, an outdoor, rooftop hot tub and more. Please read on for more details.

The Property:
This condo has quality that will not disappoint. It was fully renovated in 2020. Beyond the granite counters, stainless steel appliances, glass enclosed travertine tiled showers, and high quality cabinetry, you'll find that the renovation included many small details as well. The bathrooms and kitchen have coordinated finishes. The mattresses, linens, and furniture are of high quality. Hardwood floors throughout the main living area and hallways are accentuated by area rugs and give way to plush carpeting in the bedrooms. The living room has a very comfy sofa and armchair surrounding the wood burning fireplace and large HDTV. The balcony off the living room is covered to shelter you and your firewood from the sun, rain, or snow, while also including a high top table and fantastic views. It's a great place for a morning coffee or some afternoon refreshments. The dining room and kitchen are open to the living room, allowing you to enjoy each other's company as much as you like.

The master bedroom is off the main living area and has a good size. It accommodates the King bed with ease, plus a closet, dresser, and additional storage so you can unpack and put things away. The master also includes a wall mounted HDTV. Of course the master bedroom has a private bathroom. It features a large vanity and walk in shower. Even very tall people will enjoy this shower, which has a nice high shower head as well as a recessed nook for products and a built in foot rest too. The second bedroom is down the hall from the main living area, offering a quiet place for kids or adults alike. It has 2 Twin beds which can be converted into a King with advance request. The conversion includes a bed bridge, king sheets and duvet. This bedroom is ideal for a second couple, two single adults, or two children.

Location:
No matter when you're visiting Vail, you want to be able to walk to everything to really experience the resort. Vail 21 condo 405 gives you the true Vail experience! It is located in the heart of Lionshead. Less than 100 meters from the building, you'll find the Eagle Bahn Gondola, the Born Free Express Chairlift, the Vail Square Ice Rink, one of the Vail ticket offices, the Vail Discovery Center (summer activities), and Gore Creek, the Gore Creek trail, and a plentiful supply of shops and restaurants. There's a playground, a bike shop, gelato & chocolate, seafood and steakhouses, and for coffee lovers, there's a Starbucks. Lets not forget The Market at Vail, for groceries and spirits. All of that and more is within 100 meters of your condo! Even closer, right down the elevator, you'll find numerous ski rental shops. This location truly is ideal, everything you want or need.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions, and answers to any specific questions you might have. The condo is on the 4th floor, and can be reached using the elevator or stairs. The property has one reserved parking space for guests. Additional, paid parking is located at the Lionshead parking structure, less than 100 meters away. ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. Spectacular location, wonderful 2BR home away from home.

The listing was extremely accurate - the location was so close to everything we wanted. Vail INTOWN bus was super close and took us all over Vail Village. We had all the of the things we needed for a great week. Cookware, dishes, appliances … the one thing that was missing was quickly replaced by management staff. I don’t have a single complaint and hope to stay there again.

Perfect Location!!

If you are looking for easy access to chairlifts and ski school, this is the perfect location! Lionshead village is just below with tons of restaurants, shops, and little cafés. Vail Village is a 10 minute walk or you can hop on a bus that’s located right out front of the villas that runs every five minutes. The walk was beautiful and super easy so you have the best of both worlds. I personally love the quaintness of Lionshead; If you want a little more action you have Vail Village right up the road. There is also a supermarket located right in front of the villas. If you prefer to cook your own breakfast or come back to the room for a snack in between skiing, it is a full supermarket. The check in process was super easy. It does not have a washer and dryer in the unit, but there is one located on the third floor, which is super easy to access. Overall, great stay and great location. We will definitely be back again.!

Location was great. We did expect firewood to be provided because the condo had a wood burning fireplace. Every place we've ever stayed with fireplace wood was provided. A little disappointed that it was up to senior citizens to purchase and haul firewood.

Convenience is key!

We stayed for 5 nights at this property. It was only a 2 min walk to the gondola and directly across the street from the market and bus stop! Super convenient for all of our needs. The unit was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wish it had was the door bolt it advertised in the listing. It’s a safe neighborhood, but aside from the combination lock that I’m sure every previous renter has used, we had no way to keep others out and our belongings (and ourselves) safe. All was ok, but I’m a safety girl!

We met our daughter in Vail to see the fall colors. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the condo. Fantastic location

Beautiful place, remodel was well done , but the location for skiing is tough to beat! The place was clean, well laid out, and the property management was great. Two negatives though. The checkin process was easy, but the description of the parking situation was not. Read the instructions carefully. Your ONE parking spot is right next to the building, and there's a nice place to park for loading/unloading right next to the building. The instructions concentrated a lot on what to do if your parking space is occupied, and there was a lot of instruction on what to do. The second is the size of the place, especially the master bedroom. First impression when you walk in is, it's small. It's hard to pass someone in the halls, and there's a bench and shoe trays in the hall. The living area and kitchen are small too. I didn't stretch on the floor for the 3 days when we had four people in the unit because it would have been hard for the others to move around. As for the master, the king bed is too big, and it's not accomodated "with ease". There is 18" on one side of the bed, 3 feet on the other, and about 24" on the end. There is a folding luggage rack under the bed, but there's NO room to put it. Not in the closet for sure. The opening measures just 15" and is barely deep enough to fit the hangars. The shelves in the closet were filled up with blankets and weren't usable. And "you won't see any wires hanging down from the wall mounted TV"? There are 4 wires hanging down, along with both ends of a lace, and the modem sits on top of the dresser. Looks terrible. But the bathrooms are both awesome, spacious and well done. Over all I'd give it a 4 out of 5, only because it's smaller than the listing would lead you to believe and the description of the bedroom was soooo far off. Minor though, I guess.

Great Location

We had a great stay at the condo. It is in a great location. It was clean and looked just like the photos in the listing. The market and bus stop are just steps away and lift/gondola a short walk. If you need to rent equipment there are several choices near the condo. We would stay her again.
