Farmhouse well renovated with heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, home cinema

After 4 years of renovation respecting the old style, this beautiful farmhouse has all the modern equipment and comfort: 4 bedrooms of 20 sq. m with private bathrooms, 3 toilets, a living and dining rooms of 45 sq. m with a fireplace. There is also a large kitchen of 40 sq. m with all modern amenities, a mezzanine space of 40 sq. m with lounge and home cinema, a fitness centre with a sauna, and a Jacuzzi for 5 people. The heated pool and its terrace of 85 sq. m allow enjoying the exceptional panoramic view of the countryside surrounding. The farmhouse offers all the modern comfort with an under floor heating system, an Internet connection, a Wi-Fi access throughout the property, and a satellite TV. The living room area has a stone fireplace to spend evenings by the inglenook. The large kitchen and its large table allow you to take and enjoy your breakfast with your family. It is fully equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a cook top, and a refrigerator. The back kitchen has a washing machine, a tumble-dryer and lots of storage space.

2024 family holiday

Fabulous house to stay in with everything you could need for a large family holiday. Only a few places have a large heated pool, 6 person hot tub, sauna, gym and cinema room? Paul was great and very friendly, attentive if needed and hospitable. We've stayed in many french properties over the last 20 or so years and this tops them all. Great place for total peace and quiet with local shops a short drive away and loads to do and see in the area. Would happily go there again even though we don't usually say that.

Cette maison, ou nous avons passé une semaine en famille, est absolument parfaite et rénovée avec gout. Des espaces de vie chaleureux, très bien agencés; alliance du bois et de la pierre. Gîte magnifique dans un cadre splendide. Longère très spacieuse rénovée avec goût : 4 chambres avec toutes leur salle d’eau ou de bain, cuisine, séjour et espace salon TV très confortables. A disposition, sauna et jacuzzi. Un environnement parfait : au calme, avec les biches que l’on voit passer le matin sur la propriété ! Un endroit que l’on n’a pas envie de quitter ! Relaxing break with the family

We had an excellent week in this gite. All the facilities were easy to use and we spent our time relaxing and enjoying the lovely pool and beautiful views. Paul was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Perfect getaway on the French countryside

We had a great stay at Paul’s charming house. It’s very complete. The place is private, peaceful and has a lot of comfort. The view from the pool is amazing, the kitchen is very complete, the outdoor area with jacuzzi is very relaxing!

Stunning, peaceful location

What an absolutely beautiful setting this home is in! Every evening, the sunsets were so stunning that we found ourselves going outside with a glass of wine in hand of course, to watch the beauty. It is a very tranquil and idyllic setting but yet the local town is only a short drive away for supermarkets etc. We had a lovely meal in Vergt town centre. Paul the host was very welcoming and gave us a wonderful suggestion for a little restaurant tucked away in a village. We made full use of the pool, jacuzzi and the outdoor space. If you want a truly peaceful holiday but with the convenience of being near to so many visitor attractions then this is the place for you!

Fantastic holiday

Fantastic house, fantastic location and fantastic hosts. The house is beautiful and in such a lovely setting. We wanted a family break with peace and quiet and it was everything we wanted. The pool is lovely and kept clean and warm. The house is very spacious and has a lovely large kitchen which has all the kitchen utensils you could need. Paul is very friendly and helpful but also gives you the space you need for a lovely relaxing holiday. The town is a good 15 minutes drive away so a car is essential but this is exactly what we wanted

Sfeervol huis in rustige omgeving

De vriendelijke eigenaar Paul stond bij aankomst klaar om ons welkom te heten. Dit zeer sfeervol ingericht huis is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. Een heerlijk zwembad met fijne ligbedden en een heerlijke loungeset waarop je ‘s avonds van het prachtige uitzicht kunt genieten. Het dorpje Vergt ligt op 15 minuten rijden en hier is een supermarkt, bakker en slager te vinden. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit fraaie huis. We kunnen iedereen aanraden om hier op vakantie te gaan. Merci Paul!!

Hier willen we wonen!! Wat een prachtige plek!

Een prachtige plek, uitzicht over het groene dal, vrijheid alles privé. Een heerlijk zoutwaterzwembad, jacuzzi en tafeltennistafel. Alles gelijkvloers. Bakker op 5 min rijden. Weinig tourisme nog. Heerlijk, vogels, zon en rust. We hebben genoten. Merci Paul!

Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen

Le Cailvallet ligt in de midden in de natuur, boven op een heuvel. Wanneer je in het verwarmde zwembad ligt (of op de loungeset zit 😊) heb je uitzicht over de omgeving. Het echt magisch mooi. Binnen 15 min. rijden ben je bij de bakker of supermarkt. En de leuke plaatsen Sarlat, Perigeux en Bergerac zijn op 40 min. rijden. In de omgeving zelf zijn wandelroutes uitgezet. Het huis voldoet aan alle gemakken en de gastheer Paul is heel attent en vriendelijk. Een echte aanrader wat ons betreft.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. Au-delà des splendeurs dont regorge la région cette maison pleine d'authenticité et de charme nous a offert une bulle de bien-être. Dans un cadre calme et verdoyant, nous avons particulièrement apprécié son confort, le souci du détail de la décoration, les multiples équipements, la piscine, le jaccuzi sans oublier la quietude de son hamac. Une oasis de calme.

Vaste demeure parfaitement rénovée (quel travail des propriétaires !) dans un écrin de verdure entre Bergerac et Périgueux. Toutes les activités sont à moins d'une heure de route. La maison accueille aisément 8 personnes grâce à ses 4 chambres. De jolis moments de détente à la piscine, dans le jacuzzi ou sur le terrain de pétanque, sans oublier un verre de Pécharmant à l'ombre. Nous recommandons. Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil.

Une maison très agréable et fonctionnelle au cœur du Périgord

L’accueil de Paul, le propriétaire, a tout d’abord été agréable et détendu. L’arrivée dans cette charmante maison typique périgourdine est un enchantement. Chaque recoin offre un endroit de sérénité. Très fonctionnelle, elle permet à une grande famille d’avoir un coin pour soi. La piscine était très chaude, super bien située et les apéros de début de soirée y était très agréables. Tout est mis à disposition pour un séjour très confort. La maison est un peu loin de certains lieux touristiques incontournables mais sa positon à l’écart de la foule nous a convenu... un vrai havre de paix. Merci et bravo à Paul pour son travail de restauration de cette maison et pour son accueil. Nous reviendrons.

Idéal pour des Vacances à la campagne

Environnement très appréciable pour son calme, son point de vue et son orientation qui permettent de profiter d’un ensoleillement toute la journée.
