“Hotel Salta is a historic hotel built in 1942 with tastefully modernised rooms. Great location on central plaza. Good view from upper rooms of the San Francisco church and hills. Friendly service. Good breakfast included. Nice if a bit cold swimming in a garden setting. Good WiFi. ”

“Elegant old hotel in the centre of Salta. Great service and good sized room. Breakfast was limited but well executed. Loved the 2 resident cats! Had to get some mosquito spray as the room was full of them when we arrived. It would be good if the hotel had cleaned off the squashed ones on the wall”

“This was only supposed to be a filler stay as we extended our stay in Salta by a day. Everything about this new hotel was great. It was fantastic to see an eco hotel and the service was friendly throughout all members of staff. It was good value for money and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the centre of Salta but have a tight budget. ”

“Location is the main draw, right in the middle of downtown Salta. All is walkable. We hired a car and we could park right in the front of the building, but if you arrive around the time that the schools go out, you might have to park somewhere else first. Room itself is fairly small, but ok for a couple of days. ”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good and it did exactly what we wanted. The laundry facilities was a bonus”
