The good part- The property was clean, the bed was comfortable, small microwave, tiny fridge, room was large. Bad part- no coffee anywhere on the property. I went to loves and bought a coffee, kept it in the fridge overnight, then heated it up in the microwave in the morning. I have to have coffee first thing in the morning. The air conditioner blows right on you while you’re in bed and the lowest setting is pretty strong and it’s loud. I hate that but some people might like it. The tv is pretty small considering it’s all the way across the room. But that’s not really a big deal.

This is an older property in a town that has nothing to offer. However, when traveling on the 10 it is in the perfect location. The staff is friendly. Even though it is an older hotel, the rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable and we felt extremely safe. I would stay here again.

Clean motel, friendly service. One of the older inns. The only negative is the railroad tracks directly behind our room shakes the whole building and No in-room coffee maker. Great price for an overnighter. Would definitely stay here again.

You won’t find a better deal for the price. No frills but it was clean and quiet. It’s close to the train tracks, but I always bring ear plugs because I am a light sleeper. It didn’t seem to bother me. I travel about 100 nights a year, I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom vanity was broken on bottom door and water stained. They could do with a few "soft" pillows as I woke with a neck ache. But overall it was very clean and comfy and I would stay there again and the price was great!!!

The desert inn was the best place I stayed on my trip. The staff are so kind and helpful and even stayed late for me when I knew I wouldn't arrive by check in time. They saved me from another cold night in the woods! The rooms aren't the biggest or fanciest but they're very nice and absolutely cannot be beat for the price. Would absolutely stay again and will only ever stay here if I'm in Van Horn.

Had to find a place to spend the night before resuming the long drive across Texas! The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and friendly and the room clean and comfy. My needs were met.
