I was in Vancouver for an event at Canada Place, and the location was perfect and the price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering how there was a microwave and mini-fridge in my room! Rooms were clean and had nice views.
The first night I stayed on the twelfth floor, and there was a pipe junction above my room. I have sensory issues so I’m easily overstimulated by sound, and the grating, scratching sound coming from the walls and ceiling was jarring and intermittent and I didn’t sleep well (it might not bother other people). However, when I asked the staff about it, they found me a new room on a different floor that had already been made up, and they put a note in my customer profile not to place me on that floor again.
My next night was much more quiet and comfortable! The USB outlets in the nightstands didn’t work, but I had wall adapters so that didn’t matter. The staff let me store my bags at the front desk for 8 hours after I checked out, which was very kind of them!
So I suppose I’d recommend the Auberge for the price, location, and service! My stay wasn’t perfect, but the staff did their best to make things right!
