The hotel was antiquated but staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The place meet our needs. We choose it because it was close to our ship port. We will stay again.

The rooms themselves were decent, but there was a mouse in our first room. We were moved to another room which was fine, but it only had 1 bed and the window was poorly insulated so a lot of the street noise outside was audible.

This place is extremely run down, the rooms are dated, there was a towel on the floor to catch the condensation from the AC unit on the wall, the bathroom door couldn't open all the way because it was blocked by the toilet...and there were some pretty sketchy people in the lobby.

This is a cute quirky hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Just wish it wasn’t surrounded by homeless people. It was a little uncomfortable walk around the neighbourhood. But if you are using it a launching point for other activities in town this is a great little spot. Restaurant next door the Howe Sound was great too!

Decent price. Great food at the bar attached to it. Secure, locked entrance, which is a must as it’s in the worst neighborhood in all of vancouver. No homeless on that block per se. but, go a block in any direction and there’s crackheads lying all over the place. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. Location is relatively close to rogers arena. If you like an old 1950’s vibe, complete with tiki bar, and don’t mind the homeless people nearby or the sub par beds then this place is a pretty good value.

Live music below room until 2 am. Large homeless camps near hotel. No elevator for handicap.

We stayed Friday and saw the band unloading their gear to the Tiki Bar below the motel. The hard rock drums and electric instruments reverberated through the walls, windows, bed. I happened to have head phones but didn’t help. When they quit at 2 am it was such a relief! I had a family emergency and checked out they wouldn’t refund the 2 addtl nights.

I had my suitcase soaked in water because their AC leaks over my suitcase and was very disappointed that management didn't care.

This property should not be listed with Expedia, besides lovely staff it is very old and in a very rough part of town, it has 3 very loud “venues” directly below the rooms and beside, but they do offer earplugs when you check in! There is no elevator or amenities of any kind, the bar is frequented by a rough crowd who were using very corse language.

For the price the hotel was ok. The area it was in was a bit run down and the hotel could do with a bit of tlc in the public areas and the outside.

The property photos on Expedia site is nothing like the actual hotel. It’s a rundown building with no elevator and 2 tiers of steps you have to attempt to get your suitcases up. There was only one person at the desk who claimed to be sick and unable to help. Also was originally charge an $150 deposit. All the rooms including the safe had regular keys. I put my luggage in front of the doors. There was an adjoining door to the next room and no lock on our side to use. We felt unsafe staying there. Total misrepresentation on the ad. The nice thing was the lady behind the desk in the morning. She was awesome.

We arrived at about midnight and the front desk clerk was fantastic. Very personable and made us feel welcome. I was hungry and he volunteered to order food for me from a nearby restaurant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The downside is that there was no elevator and all rooms are on the second floor. I would stay there again.

A busy area. The bus stop in front attracts an assortment of folks more interested in alcohol than rides. Once inside all is fine, and the doors are controlled. Nice staff.
