Very nice place, close to the beach, convenient downstairs with supermarkets and restaurants, clean room, good and timely staff service, they provide online 24-hour service, which is worthy of recommendation! Little advice, hope to provide laundry service or equipment, that would be perfect. Air conditioning heating can be improved. Everything else is good!

This hotel was clean, comfortable and in a walkable area. On the down side, there is not a front desk or anyone to welcome you. Very impersonal. Guest arriving are required to go online, download an app, create an account with their app, provide ID, video your face to confirm your identity and then you are provided with a code to enter the building. This is the last thing I need when I drive all day and look forward to getting to my hotel. I will not being staying again and now am concerned about my personal information in facial recognition details in their app. Hotels should focus on welcoming their guest, not cutting corners to save cost.

We loved this place! The rooms were HUGE and had a lovely patio area. It was modern and super comfortable! The bed was extremely comfortable. Location was AMAZING, in the center of a lot of things yet, still very quiet. Check in was a little different, everything was done via the app but it was still really easy, the app clearly explained the process. If I’m in Vancouver again, Sonder is my go to and what I’ll be recommending.

Loved the terrace. Easy to sign in and not having to have a key card, just code. It was very quiet and peaceful. Appreciated the coffee and the coffee machine. Area around is great with variety of businesses and walkable. For our 2 nights trip, it was perfect. Highly recommend

Very quiet. There is no staff present to help if you have questions, but they are reachable via the app or a phone #, so it can feel a little isolating. Perfect location walkable to Stanley park and very nice neighborhood mixed with quiet residential but also plenty of coffee options and restaurants. Parking is an additional separate charge.

The Sonder is a good, inexpensive option in a place like Vancouver. What I did not like is that this is one of those places that do a super late check-in at 4 PM. Any earlier and you have to pay. They also do not clean your room every day, charging a cleaning fee instead, which is not clearly stated on Expedia's listing. ("Housekeeping on request" is not very clear.) It felt a little bit like being nickel and dimed for every little thing. The lobby is not staffed so you never really see anyone who works there. Don't expect that hotel experience here! Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower pressure was good, the toiletries were very nice, and the location is walking distance to a lot of good restaurants.
