Prachtig huis met alle comfort. Wij verbleven er met kinderen en kleinkinderen, Vriendelijke ontvangst door Fred, goede bedden, genoeg borden, bestek…Groot zwembad, veilig afgebakend voor de kinderen. Prachtig overdekt terras om gezamenlijk te eten.Kortom een aanrader.

Repos et détente

En weekend prolongé a 14 dans cet immense gîte, nous avons pu profiter en famille de ce logement incroyable, en pleine nature, des espaces séparés pour chaque famille ( nous étions 4 couples et les enfants), le calme, la piscine, la grande terrasse couverte et conviviale, nous avons tous été heureux et comblés de ce merveilleux moment. Merci a Frédéric pour son accueil et pour sa sympathie.

Wonderful extended family holiday

We had a wonderful time. The house is amazing. Fred is a great host. We loved the area and went kayaking and to the swimming lake as well as the market in riberac.

Lovely family holiday

We were a family of 13 people from ages 13 to 72 and we all had a wonderful time together. Fred was a very welcoming and supportive host. The setting is rural, but we found plenty to do out and about, particularly at Lac Jemaye and Aubeterre Sur Dronne. Our favourite family challenge was table tennis competitions and everyone enjoyed the pool.

laatste week van September verbleven wij met acht vrienden in dit ruimen verblijf Ons doel was op de racefiets wat mooie routes rijden door de Dordogne, en dat is prima gelukt voldoende rustige wegen en mooie beklimmingen Na de rit is het heerlijk thuis komen in dit verblijf Een lekkere duik in het zwembad daarna met elkaar koken en het laat maken op het overdekte terras De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en spreekt prima Engels met een mooi Frans accent De omgeving is erg rustig maar zeker voldoende mogelijkheden om er op uit te trekken

30th Wedding Family Holiday

La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things. We were a family of 12 from ages 21 to 79 and the property was perfect for us all to be together, and also space for individual and quiet moments if required. The view from the super pool was a delight as was the eating terrace of an evening. Thank you Fred, we would definitely book again!

Excellent

Très beau domaine, parfait pour recevoir 3 à 4 familles. Superbe résidence avec une très grande piscine chauffée. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et nous a réservé un excellent accueil. Un peu compliqué pour découvrir la région. Tout est au minimum à 1/2 heure sur des routes étroites...mais bon, l'essentiel est de se retrouver dans un endroit super sympa.

Even helemaal tot rust komen

We zijn hier met familie een week geweest. Het was heerlijk, het huis zit aan de rand van het bos waardoor de hertjes in de ochtend en avond voorbij komen. Je bent er echt even helemaal uit. Het zwembad was voortreffelijk ook met de kinderen, alles is omheind dus veilig voor de kleintjes. Het huis zelf is ruim en echt alles is aanwezig. Het overdekte terras is nog het meest gebruikt de hele week! Het huis ligt relatief afgelegen maar wij hebben de drang niet gevoeld om allerlei uitstapjes te maken omdat er genoeg te doen was in en om het huis.

Great family and friends vacation for our 30th anniversary

We needed a villa large enough for 13 people and wanted a large swimming pool, large grounds , enough bedrooms and a few bathrooms . This ticked all the boxes ! We had a fantastic week . Many lovely meals were enjoyed outside on the huge table . Lovely area too and great having RIBERAC 5 minutes away

Brilliant family villa

Top quality villa. Layout works really well giving opportunity of privacy and plenty of bathrooms. Very well equipped with more than enough for large groups. All kitchen equipment either new or recent. Great outdoor seating/ dining area providing shade from sun and rain if needed. Good sized pool , well maintained and safely fenced. Enormous grounds providing privacy. Fred is quite rightly proud of the villa and works hard to ensure that everything is spot on. We enjoyed the homemade foie gras he brought round. He is a really good host, not intrusive but very friendly and helpful. The villa is situated near a lake with a swimming area overseen by a lifeguard. Various activities like paddle boarding can be booked for free. There is plenty to do in the area. Our only pity was that we hadn’t spent 2 weeks here. Many, many thanks Fred!

A wonderful holiday

Our group of 13 (four families) have just returned from a week at Fred's wonderful house. It was even better than we expected, peaceful and plenty of room, with a fantastic outside dining area and an excellent pool, perfect for cooling down (and playing) during this endless hot weather. Fred was welcoming and full of great advice about the area. We'd all definitely return. Book with confidence.

We loved it!

Beautiful, well equipped and presented property in a picturesque and secluded location. There was plenty of room for our group of nine - when we wanted to socialise with each other and when we needed a bit of space. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Lots of areas outside to sit and relax - for sun and shade lovers. The pool and table tennis table were great for cooling down or burning off excess teenage energy. The local area is lovely with plenty of places to visit within a reasonable distance. We visited Aubeterre, Riberac for its excellent market, Bordeaux, Brantôme, Sarlat as well as the local swimming lake and a couple of kayak trips. Last but not least - Fred, our host, was fantastic - great communication, welcoming and eager to help us to have the best holiday possible. It was a pleasure to meet him. We are all rather sad to be home and back at work - a sign of a great holiday!

Magnifique !

Très belle propriété offrant tout le confort nécessaire. La charpente du bâtiment principal est impressionnante, le jardin est immense (12 hectares) et l'accueil réservé par Fred est excellent. Nous avons passé Noël en famille à 14 personnes sans manquer d'espace. Nous recommandons vivement !
