“I would not recommend these rooms to anybody. The beds are rock solid, I’m in my twenties and backpack but they were more uncomfortable than my worst days on the trail. Neither of us slept our entire time there. The WiFi did not reach the room. The biggest issue was with the owner entering our room while we were there, once late at night & without knocking. They are in desperate need of “do not disturb” signs. We also were told on our last night that our checkout time was to be two hours earlier……

“This new property on Sifnos is perfection. There really is no other word to describe it. Book the room with the private pool at the bottom of the property if you want your own pool and the most private of rooms with the best view on site. The staff are fantastic and so quick to respond to new glasses or ice being sent to the room. The daily breakfast by the pool was sensational. Order the freshly scrambled eggs. “Great stay at the Windmill. The location is picturesque and overlooks the entire port. For those where views are king, this is the place for you. The service was amazing and check in was very easy. The host was knowledgeable and gave me some great recommendations as to where to go. Upon entering the room, it was very modern but had some stains on the sheets from previous stays and some hair on the floor. Not a huge deal breaker but attention to detail is very important. “We had a fantastic stay at Garifilakis. The room was perfect for our needs - clean, spacious with everything you’d need for a stay in Milos. Very walkable to Pollonia with parking available right across the road. Flora, Nektaria and the rest of the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as wonderful as possible. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. ”
