“This is our 3rd year staying in the Lake Gaston area during Thanksgiving that it has become our family tradition. Our first time staying at Tequila Sunrise, and it was so nice. We enjoyed the property, especially the lake and amazing sunsets. Having our coffee and tea on the covered porch was enjoyable, and amazing star gazing on the dock was a highlight. The bed in the master was comfortable, and we enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. We cooked, ate, played games, watched movies, and enjoyed……

“Build in some time for check out cleaning - especially if you have the whole place occupied. Suffice to say there was lots of booze drunk, full trash in the many bathrooms and a kitchen full of food after our four days of a party of 22!! We had a blast and the vibe and river were perfect. We swam, kayaked, hot tubbed and hung out in the many lounge spaces. The house is well set up and maintained!!”

“We visited the lodge for a thanksgiving family getaway. The rooms and house are very spacious. Vrbo’s description of the house was very accurate. The owners of the home are very nice, welcoming, and are timely in responding. One negative I would give is the housekeeping of the house. It needed more of a “detailed” cleaning. This property could also be more handicapped friendly as far as entering the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to others. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Lago! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. The property was well-organized, spotless, and everything we needed was provided. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed over Thanksgiving, and although it was a bit chilly, we still had a great time enjoying the lake, kayaking, and using the paddle board. Highly recommend!”
