“Cabin was easy to find and the stay was very quiet. It was peaceful sitting on the back deck and enjoying the surrounding nature with a cold drink in hand. The inside was well furnished, the A/C was cold, and the layout was nice. We went to the nearby trailhead and did some trail running early in the morning, then spent the afternoons in Carbondale or Giant City. We will stay here again, 5 stars. Thx!”

“The cabin was lovely, cozy, spotless, and in a gorgeous location! Hot tub was incredible, kitchen was well stocked for us to make meals, wide selection of books. First time my fiance and I have felt truly relaxed and rested in a while. Nearly completely private (one neighboring cabin was partially visible from back deck) yet only 10 minutes from Carbondale or 20minutes from cobden or Marion both of which have some hidden gems of restaurants Tons of beautiful hiking around the area, we hiked to……

“This was easy to find, feeling of a home with everything we needed. From charging ports to every kitchen utensil and appliance, we saved so much on eating out and cooked as if we were home. Plenty of linens and towels, we didn’t need anything additional. ”

“This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The Loft. We had a great time and amazing stay both times. We love the rural country cabin, and just getting to relax with plenty of privacy. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make it feel like home. We needed to extend our stay by a day due to rough weather, and Lisa responded to our request promptly and made that an easy process. I think the only thing I could suggest would be to maybe update the couch at some point. You really sink……

“It rained most of our stay but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean , cozy cabin. We enjoyed seeing deer outside every day we were there. We enjoyed playing Miss Pac Man. We stayed here to attend 3abn camp meeting in Thompsonville . We would definitely stay again. ”
