“We loved the Sauk River Cabin! Perfect base for hikes along the Mountain Loop Highway and in North Cascades NP. Great location near Darrington, which has groceries, restaurants, and gas.The cabin itself is wonderful. Very comfy, and the river-side amenities like the fire pit and the lounge chairs on the riverbank make it a great place to hang out between and after explorations.Highly recommended!”

“This lake house was so cute!! We went paddle boarding and kayaking each day. The girls played out on the dock watching the frogs, fish, and ducks. We also did s’mores at the fire pit each night and watched the stars. This house was a perfect for a quiet vacation with the girls.”

“House accommodated our family of 5 nicely and everyone had their own bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed, but it didn’t have a toaster. All the beds were very comfortable. Having the river, really close to the back yard, was a major plus. We utilized the fire pit and hot tub and experienced no problem with these amenities. The washer seems to only stain whites, not colors. We reported the ice maker did not work properly and so we just bought ice instead. We feel the house could benefit……

“I rarely stay at a property that completely exceeds all expectations, but this property did. It is perfect. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and with everything needed for a great stay. Including great pillows. The view is absolutely gorgeous, overlooking the river and looking toward two rocky peaks.The deck has shade and is a perfect spot for morning coffee, lunch or evening drinks. The living room is a comfortable gathering spot at the end of the day. The neighborhood is quiet. The owner……

“This is quite a beautiful home with an outstanding hilltop view of the lake. We had the house at max capacity with 4 generations staying together for a family wedding weekend! It was great! There was plenty of room for everyone and the home was enjoyed by all! Helen was wonderful to work with and we are so grateful for their hospitality. We highly recommend!”
