I booked a standard room through Expedia, but despite showing them my confirmation number, they were unable to find my reservation, and had no standard rooms available. I ended up being charged an extra $50 for a "balcony room". Given the error, i should have been given whatever room was available for the price of the standard room. This is a subpar place- not terrible, but not great, which I was expecting. That would have been fine for the original price I paid, but it definitely wasnt worth the extra $50. I'm not sure if the problem was Expedia's or the motel's, but I hope they sort it out so that others aren't put in a similar position.
