“We rented this house for a mini getaway for our family and dog. It was adorably decorated and cozy. We loved the little touches that made it special: the old books, the fireplace, the blue themed colors, the fire pit outside.The best part was the view of the lake. My favorite memory was wrapped in a blanked on the porch drinking my coffee overlooking the lake and listening to the birds chirping. ”

“We needed to find a VRBO last minute between Ludlow & Hartford large enough to accommodate 5 adults & a dog. A beloved family member had passed. We had several events to attend in a few different locations. This was the only VRBO to meet these needs. I cannot thank Matt enough for his timely & helpful communications. He was also honest about the condition of the rental. I read all the reviews for which most were accurate. The most positive aspects for us were the clean, soft & comfortable beds.……

“Our brother-in-law passed away unexpectedly. The house was perfect for us to gather to plan services and be with each other. It was also 10 minutes from our sister's home in Coventry. The service, grounds, home, and farm were wonderful. I highly recommend it. Paul.”

“I would have given this property 5 stars but water pressure in one bathroom was very low and the amount of available hot water was inadequate for 7 guests. This property was roomy with plenty of space for guests. The kitchen was very nice as was the dining room. It is located on a busy street which makes it hard to turn out of the driveway. Our hostess was quick to response to any questions.. there were large black ants here and there inside dwelling which may have been due to heavy rains when……

“This apartment is a real gem. We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Our hosts gave all the information we needed prior to arriving so we didn't have to ask lots of questions. The neighborhood is very safe with lots of families in the neighborhood walking dogs, etc. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Springfield!”

“We visited this property for a short stay and it meet our expectations for the value. Contact with host was easy and property manager coordinated return of a personal item we forgot which was so kind.This cottage makes good use of the space and the decore is fun. Pictures make it look slightly larger than it is and all bedrooms are open to other spaces but for our family that was not an issue. The yard is great and having the kayaks and paddle boards on-site is awesome!!! Our tweens and teen……

“After a small glitch to begin the stay, which the owner responded to quickly, it was a pleasant stay. The living area, kitchen and dining area are very nice. So is the front porch and the fire pit is also nice although we did not use it. The half bath on the first level was a nice plus. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are a challenge for elderly ”

“Spent weekend here to visit a student at Wesleyan about 20 min away. Secluded, peaceful with beautiful views. This house has everything we needed! Even on a rainy weekend the location was perfect. Can’tWait to come back and enjoy the beautiful outdoor deck some day!”

“The house was clean, well decorated and stocked. A all around. Only downside, the info stated there was a hot tub but there was not a hot tub. Also i tried messaging Rose and i didnt get a response. Not sure if thats an app issue or not. Otherwise, I'd stay here again if needed ”
