Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. The lobby is dated and tired. At peak check-in hours, there is a long line and only one reception staff. Breakfast is included in the steep price but you may as well skip it unless you enjoy unkempt tables, overcrowding and terrible coffee from a machine (and this is Italy).

Es tut mir irgendwie leid, denn das Hotel hatte sicherlich mal eine Glanzzeit. Aber davon erlebt man halt nun die Reste, was für den ein oder anderen sicherlich auch seinen Charme hat. Wir fanden es zu plüschig, altbacken und ahgewohnt. Schade! Das Personal war bemüht. Das Essen an der Bar war leider Fertigware ohne Charme. Ansonsten zumindest fußläufig vom Bahnhof erreichbar, Zentrum ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar.

Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, although there was a queue to be seated. Relatively close to the station, although it looks closer on a map and actually required a bit of a detour to reach.

Very nice reception bar area. Breakfast was good, more choice for lacctose free/vegan would be a suggestion. Staff great. Room great accept air con was the best had to open windows as found it hot. Overrall great stay and would go back 😎👍

Das Hotel hat definitiv schon bessere Zeiten erlebt – die Ausstattung ist renovierungsbedürftig. Besonders problematisch war unser erstes Zimmer zur Straßenseite: Der Lärm war extrem – man fühlte sich wie direkt an der Autobahn. Zum Glück bekamen wir am nächsten Abend ein Zimmer zur ruhigen Seite, das deutlich besser war. Deshalb: Unbedingt ein Zimmer zur abgewandten Seite verlangen! Die Lage ist etwas unpraktisch, da es keine Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gibt – nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt ist der Rückweg zu Fuß anstrengend. Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes.

Very convenient hotel close to the station and very good standards. The style is cool, modern and antique at the same time, which gives a special taste to this hotel and where you don't feel to be in the classic anonymous hotel close to a train station

We only stayed for one night but loved the hotel and would definitely come back. It was a short bus ride from the airport and then all the shops/restaurants/attractions were within walking distance so the location was perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly here. We also had a drink in the bar as we wanted to sit in the bar/lobby for a while as it was just so nice. Our room was a decent size and just overall a lovely stay here.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Leon D‘Oro war gut. Der Eingang und Empfang nett und gut gestaltet. Die Mitarbeiter nett und der Service gut. Die tägliche Reinigung des Zimmers war toll und es wurde täglich die Handtücher gewechselt und das Bett gemacht. Das Frühstück war gut, der Zustand des Hotels generell war in Ordnung und die Lage zum Bahnhof war sehr schön. Einzige Mängel sind: Supermärkte etc. In der Nähe nicht vorhanden

The hotel itself was amazing, check in was easy, room was clean and smelled great and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had! It’s about a 15 minute walk to the station and about a 30 minute walk to the city center so the location isn’t the best and it’s kind of isolated. For the price I highly recommend

Overall it is a good hotel, close to the city centre, but it’s very noise being close to the street and all the cars and motorcycles can be heard. The parking is very small and it requires to leave the keys to the valet so it can be moved around whenever is necessary. Also the parking pricing varies depending on the car size. It starts from 24€ for the subcompact cars. Inside the room, I found the mattress and pillows too hard. Other than that, the breakfast is great. I think this hotel had the best breakfast in Italy during my vacation.

Wanted a base near the train station which is a little over 5mins walk. Read some reviews saying rooms were dated but ours was in good condition. Like the impressive reception and bar area. Good breakfast choices - scrambled egg, sausages and (wafer thin) bacon along what usual meats, cheeses and bread. Gym was adequate for a hotel with what seemed fairly new equipment. Staff we seen were friendly.

Awesome hotel right in the heart of Verona that is walkable to both the train and the historic city center. Room was very clean and great customer service! We would come back here again.
