“The house was very clean and spacious, warm and comfortable, with a real log fire to complement the central heating. Our host Paula, a lovely lady, was an excellent host and very helpful, especially when Portugal was affected by a major power outage - she responded with torches, candles, warm soup, heating up a meal for us and a vacuum flask of hot water! We spent a fortnight exploring the Montesinho trails on foot and bike, and enjoyed it immensely. Rural northern Portugal at its best.”

“Gorgeous property in a stunning setting, just perfect, wish we had stayed longer and will definitely return. The property has been beautifully restored and is very comfortable, with everything we needed. Lotus was extremely welcoming and helpful providing good recommendations for places to walk. Her lovely pet family were also very friendly and accepted our dog quickly, soon playing and chasing all round the garden. We were all sorry to leave!”
