The hotel is located in a beautiful area and has a great potential. The room was nice, clean, with a huge terrace. Unfortunately, the water of the bathroom was cold or on the best days tepid, with nearly no pressure, which made showers unpleasant and challenging. The breakfast was particularly underwhelming, the personnel was not unpleasant but also not particularly welcoming. The WiFi, supposedly limited to public areas was in fact not working. We were particularly irritated by a rule of the hotel that forbid customers to eat in their room. All in all, we did not understand what justified the 3 stars of the hotel. We will surely not return.

Ein Hotel mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Möbel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber der Amalfi Flair sehr gut spürbar. Einziges Manko war das warme Wasser. Der Wasserstrahl ist so klein, dass man viel zu lange warten muss, um nass zu werden. Alles in allem dennoch schönes Hotel

I booked this place outside Sorrento for the view and it did nont disappoint . I could sit on that balcony for a long time looking over the bay and Sorrento. Stunning!

O principal ponto negativo é a acessibilidade, fora de mão, não é servido por táxi (difícil na região), chegamos tarde da noite na estação de trem Meta e são mais de 2km de subida íngreme com malas, na chuva ! Via mal iluminada, sem uma calçada decente para pedestre. Uber nem pensar. NÃO PASSA ÔNIBUS ALGUM ! Não há transfer do hotel e quando precisamos ir até o porto de Sorrento nos chamaram uma Van que cobrou 20 euros cada um ! A piscina estava fechada e não havia aviso algum no site Hoteis.com. O hotel parece ser da década de 30, muito antigo, mas bem conservado, não há qualquer comércio por perto, só uns food truck a noite

Lovely hotel, do not stay unless you have a car

Views are stunning, hotel is clean, breakfast is nice. Unfortunately the beds are very uncomfortable and the wifi/service in general does not work in the rooms. Additionally, the main issue was that the hotel is on a very busy main road up on the cliffs meaning you cannot walk anywhere and every taxi driver would charge €50 knowing that they would have to drive all the way up and back because there is nothing around the hotel. But if you have a car then the hotel is totally worth it for the low price and views!

This is a hotel with a million dollar view. We had a room with sea view. Balcony was perfect to sit and enjoy the view of the city and the sea. Room was clean and housekeeping was prompt. Owner was very nice. Highly recommend this hotel. Just a few tips for future travelers. -Hotel sits on a cliff and about 15 minutes away to the city center. Taxi costs about €55 one way so a car is a must as there’s no public transportation. -Towels are made out of thin fabric. Bring your own bath towel. -Breakfast is light. A bit disappointing there was no items like tomatoes or cucumbers or any other healthy options. They offered cookies kind of items, croissants, boiled eggs and a couple of meat items. Service was good and staff was friendly. -There’s weak internet in the room. Best signal is in the lobby area.

Tolle Aussicht aus den Zimmern, Hotel sehr altbacken, allerdings sehr sauber. Frühstück sehr einfach aber okay. Mietwagen bzw eigener PKW ist zwingend empfehlenswert, da man sonst nur schwer wegkommt (Hauptstraße hat kein Bürgersteig).

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel pagandolo in promozione. Per il prezzo pagato è stato sicuramente piacevole. Le camere un po’ datate ma la vista è eccezionale. Colazione scarna ma comunque buona. La presenza del parcheggio interno è comunque una nota a suo favore.

The location and views are spectacular but the owner is a bit of a tyrant. No pool towels provided so you have to take your bath towel to the pool. Ours got dirty from the chairs and we could not get clean towels after 6pm because “ they were locked up for the night”. We requested ice in our bucket to keep the bottle of wine chill and the owner told us “no, you don’t need ice”.

Zeker geen 4* waard we hadden een classic room gereserveerd. Die kregen we niet. Eigenaar begint te bulderen alle kamers zijn gelijk. Zet dat dan niet op de site. Tegels zwembad los. Wastafel zo vies, randen worden niet schoongemaakt. Douche beschimmeld, wel lekkere straal en altijd warm water. Airco wordt vanuit hun bediend, eerste nacht heel warm, want je moet erom vragen. Om 6 uur gaat hij uit en daar werd ik elke ochtend wakker van want je hoort dan liid een klik. Voor Nederlandse begrippen heel slecht ontbijt. Nooit vers brood. De croissants worden niet lekker gebakken. De eieren zijn te lang gekookt. Groen. Uitzicht is prachtig personeel is bang voor de eigenaar dat zie je aan alles. Ze zijn totaal niet flexibel. Communicatie en klant vriendelijkheid heeft hij nog nooit van gehoord. Op een gegeven moment zei hij zelf dat hij een raar karakter had. Soms opeens heel vriendelijk maar als je een vraag hebt dan buldert hij erover heen.

Firstly let me just say that the views from this hotel are simply breathtaking. It’s the sole reason I booked this hotel and it lived up to all expectations. Unfortunately that is probably where the positives end. I would say that the location isn’t great, there is no public transport so I would only book if you have rented a car. The breakfast is very basic, you even have to pay extra for coffee or tea, and there is no dinner services here, again a problem if you haven’t rented a car. The rooms are basic and outdated but you probably won’t care if you have that sea view. The real issue here is the owner and staff. The staff are just downright rude and disrespectful. They made no effort to help us with transport queries or booking a taxi, they were generally dismissive with any of our questions, they hurried us to checkout even though we still had another 20 minutes, they told us to keep the noise down even though we were just talking on our balcony, and upon leaving, the owner wanted us to pay him in cash rather than card. The owner must be one of the most miserable people I have ever met, which probably effects how the rest of the staff act and behave. Would I stay here again? Maybe for the view but I’d certainly manage my expectations with the level of customer service.

La persona que estaba en recepción que debe ser el dueño muy mal educado cuando llegamos. El wifi no llega a las habitaciones que están en la segunda planta y te desconectan el AA cuando te vas de la habitacion, tambien por la noche hace mucha calor y te lo paran desde recepción. Lo único son las vistas que tiene el hotel y la piscina. El.resto del personal del Hotel es muy amable.
