The front desk staff was nice. The only thing they weren't helpful. I told them we needed to just change our towels, and they said to call in the morning (they could have just said thats ok we will take care of it, add it to your comments or whatever LOL), then when we were in our room the shower water had no pressure, and the hotel staff said you need to call maintenance (no we just told you so you can tell them LOL). Like the staff didn't want to take accountability. The hotel didn't have air condition which was horrible to sleep at night. The bed was uncomfortable, both sides had a dip in them. As for location, it was ok, we never really wondered around the streets without a vehicle. They also wanted to charge your $15/day for parking, said they were the cheapest downtown, meanwhile we checked the parkade and they were $12/day. We definately will not be going back to this location.
OH and we asked if they served breakfast, they said no, we asked if they had a restaurant and they said no, they said there's plenty of restaurants near by, but that is not what I asked...ya not going back. Would stay at the Empress for a better expereince LOL. :)
