Staff was ready to welcome us for check-in and thoroughly explained process. It's located in a nice quiet neighborhood not far from attractions. Only thing I'd say is you may have to park a bit farther from the inn because it's street parking so space is limited, but it's less than a 3 min walk even if you end up with a farther spot, so it wouldn't deter us from staying here again! Would return!

A bit off of downtown, abt 1 mile. Cabs were cheap if you don't want to walk. Mostly residential area. Very nice and quiet. Property is in good shape and very clean. Staff was very helpful. There is a kitchen available for your use.

The Craigmyle was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights! Our room was cozy and spotlessly clean! The bed was so comfortable. We loved the fact you could use the hotel kitchen to make a snack or hot tea at night. The coffee in the morning available in the living room was a nice treat to start our morning. The added bonus of breakfast if we wanted for only $10 was a nice option. Overall definitely will stay again for our next visit to Victoria.

Beautiful old Victorian home. Nicely decorated. Rooms were on small side but they were comfortable. Bed had nice linens and bed super comfortable. Our bathroom was very small with no counter space. The shower was very awkward. Had very little room to turn around and couldn’t bend down. There is no host at night which I found strange but it turned out ok. There is someone there during the day. There is fresh coffee available in the morning. You can have breakfast for additional charge. Had a nice stay overall.

they warn you about steps and they have a LOT of them. we are seniors with bad knees and it was painful. Room was small, no tv or refrigerator and lots of steps to get to a refer.

No parking period unless you want to walk 2 blocks with your stuff, they want you to leave your shoes at the door but provide inadequate shoe racks, the room is very small and bears little resemblance to the pictures on the web, somewhat disappointed. As person that adores older architecture… this place was perfect. And the views of the castle behind you while you have tea/coffee and breakfast… speechless. The staff are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place. I will be back. The only downside is the walk downtown is 35mins. Beautiful walk though!

I was only here for one night and arrived late with an early checkout so I wasn’t able to enjoy breakfast or see any of the staff. The property is truly special. - location is perfect for enjoying downtown Vic without the street noise as it’s tucked away from the busy center. - my room was beautifully made up and plenty spacious. Lots of space in the bathroom with natural light too. - I arrived late and wasn’t able to find parking in front so had to go around the corner. This was fine but just beware that it’s a good idea to keep luggage compact as you may need to walk a small block or so and then up steps to the door. - my room was on the 3rd floor so I was glad my bag was light enough to carry up as I didn’t want to disturb other guests at the late hour that I arrived. - the bed and pillows could rival a 4-5 star hotel. Clean, crisp, comfy AND a great selection of pillows. I would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to others. Thank you to the owners for providing a safe, comfortable and unique place to rest my head.
