We enjoyed our stay, staff were great, only negative was the laundry. As non Canadians, it wouldn’t let us download the necessary app and I do not have the facility to pay by phone. My Canadian friend had to pay for me, which would not be OK if travelling without a local!!! Also, one of the machines did not spin the clothes properly so they took days to dry hanging in the suite!

Great property with every amenity a travelling family could use. I saw so many cute puppies in the lobby but never noticed any foul smells. Great staff, although alone at front desk in night helped us clean up a mess in washroom. Very walkable location nestled just a bit outside hussle and noise of downtown and yet so close to walk to everything on downtown map. My kid was so happy with the games in the lobby that you can borrow. A full kitchen is much help during travels with young kid and elderly. Oswego were able to accommodate us for early check-in and I'd be very thankful for that and would be definitely checking this location when returning to Victoria.

The area itself is very close to everything. We walked around the neighborhood and into downtown which was really nice. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was great. We had issues with the shower drainage but staff took care of that right away and replenished our towels and did some housekeeping even though we opted to go green. Highly recommend; will definitely come back!

The hotel lobby is warm and welcoming and so is their front desk staff; there are books and games available for guests; however, we found the furniture in our suite could use some updates! The bed and pillows were very comfortable but the furniture in our suite was in need of repair or replacement. Also, there is no AC but there are ceiling fans and a stand-up fan that you can move around. I also had to request to have our bed made, not sure why that wasn't part of the regular housekeeping process, but in any case, I only had to ask once and from then onwards the bed was done daily. But I have to say if you are traveling with your furry baby this is the place to stay! Our Charlie was so spoiled, we truly felt welcome and not just "accommodated"! The staff loved our Charlie! This hotel is not just dog friendly; they do care about your furry companions! I also have to give a special shout-out to "G" in the restaurant, although ALL the staff was pleasant and so great to us, "G" went out of her way to accommodate us and Charlie too, she was the friendliest and most genuine server, hostess and bartender we've ever had the pleasure of encountering, she truly is a gem and the hotel/restaurant is lucky to have her! The food was excellent, but she is the reason we kept coming back to eat at the restaurant! The location of this hotel is excellent within walking distance to the harbor and DT Victoria. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again!
