Not reach my expectations

Small hotel , many guest , room is nice but is not soundproof.,in the morning the housekeeping made sound outside already .. breakfast is good but very crowded, I wait there 15mins to find a table, the service very busy like battle , and full of people,even it is a nice restaurant, I can’t enjoy it much , feel anxiety . Swimming pool is just for taking pictures, extremely small and full of guest . There is no electric kettle in the room. front desk is not professional, I want put some food in fridge after check out they refused . The restaurant downstairs is beautiful but food is so so, no expectations for food in Vienna .If you want privacy and spacious will be disappointed in hot season

The hotel is very conveniently located near the city center. We found could either walk or take public transport to reach any destination. The room was of a good size, but the semi-open plan was unexpected. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Great location and great service. Had issue with checking in but they did give us complement coupon for their rooftop bar. Staff are very helpful with an issue of the AC/heating unit.

I had an unfortunate accident walking to a restaurant on June 30th and fell and broke my elbow. Front Office receptionist Medina was very helpful in contacting the house doctor who gave us detailed information on the hospital we should go to for care.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Ferdinand. Location was great. Walkable to all important areas of interest such as the opera house and many parks. Shopping is close by as well. Many restaurants and cafes in the area as well. I would have liked to have seen more counter space but amenities were great. The room was a bit noisy but this is expected in the city centre. We would stay here again. We were a couple travelling on a leisure trip.

Hotel is really nice. Recommend to get the breakfast package. The pool is a great place to hang out. The only negative is that our room was in the 7th floor and there was as constant smell of fried food in our room. Suspect that the exhaust of the kitchens was close to our ventilation system.

Tolles Hotel, sehr nette Mitarbeiter und ein super Frühstücksbuffet in der Rooftop Bar! Auch Klasse ist der kleine Pool mit Sonnenliegen auf dem Dach! Das Hotel hat richtig Spaß gemacht und die zentrale Lage ist wirklich optimal! Einziges kleines Manko ist dass es an der Sauberkeit beim Geschirr etwas mangelte oder ein schmutziges Handtuch im Zimmer nur ordentlich wieder hin gelegt aber nicht ausgetauscht wurde. Die Zimmer an sich sind auch sehr schön, man sollte bei der halboffenen Dusche und Waschbecken im Wohnbereich allerdings nicht schüchtern sein. Mein Fazit: ich würde das Grand Ferdinand auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Grand Ferdinand in Vienna. The location was great. Very walkable to many things such as museums, churches, and shopping. The hotel was nice. Our room was clean and a decent size for a European hotel room. Nice big shower, seperate toilet room, but lacked counter soace and closet space. No dresser, or table and chair to sit at, but had a small couch to put our suitcase on. Pur air conditioning wasn't working for 2 days but it git fixed on our last day which we were grateful for in the heat. We wanted to use the pool but it is very small and no loungers were ever available. There were only about 10 of them. The breakfast was included and very good. We had dinner at the Limon Restaurant and it was very expensive. There were 4 of us. We each had a meal, a drink, a coffee and shared dessert for $266 Euros. The food was just okay. Unfortunately, eating in Europe is not cheap at all and honestly, the food is just okay. I would recommend the Grand Ferdinand for a short term stay to be close to everything.

Hotel is located very centrally, walkable to most city centre sites and easy to find. Reception and rooms were very nice and looked smart. Provided a bed and bowl for our dog but unfortunately that was where the "dog-friendly" element ended. Despite having three restaurants we could not go to breakfast with our dog as the only restaurant serving breakfast was on the top floor and dogs were not allowed. We asked if we could eat the meal somewhere else (i.e. one of the other restaurants) and they said no. Their two suggestions were to leave the dog in the room (which I explained would be noisy as she barks when on her own, especially in a strange room) or we could go up one at a time which isn't really a great way to spend a break as a couple. My wife did go up one morning and by the time she managed to find a menu (not handed to her when she arrived) the staff member said the kitchen was now closed. In conclusion the hotel looks lovely and is in a great part of town but service is really poor

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit besonders beim Frühstück. Was mich gestört hat ist ein ausgestopftes Pferd gleich in der Eingangshalle. Die Fenster in meinem Zimmer waren so dermaßen blind vor Schmutz. Die Holzklappläden innen geben einem ein Gefühl des eingesperrt sein. Dusche und Waschtisch im Zimmer mag vielleicht originell sein aber nicht nach meinem Geschmack.
