“We stayed near end of season, atmosphere in the resort was rather tranquil, which we liked. Apartments and public areas are a little worn, but spacey and well-equipped. We even got an upgrade to a suite with a third bedroom (which we did not need as a family of 3, but overall we enjoyed the extra space). For wifi in the room we needed to rent a router, but the price of 1 Euro per day is moderate and quality was perfect. Access to the (public) beach is by a 1500m walk, but there is a small train……

“Very enjoyable stay in this hotel. Beautiful room in a perfect area. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Hotel located a 2 minute walk from the centre of the town and other bigger towns/cities are a short drive or taxi away. “We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next……

“We stayed at this property for 2 nights at the end of our time in Portugal. The communication with the host was excellent! The house was quaint, the area was under construction so it was a bit noisy for us. Great location for old world charm and close to lots of restaurants and the waterfront.”

“Communication was excellent and the location was very convenient. Very cute apartment with spiral staircase to access the bedroom and main bathroom. There is also a "powder room" (toilet only) on the main floor.We very much enjoyed being able to access the coastal island beaches via the nearby (and very reasonably priced) ferries. The foor markets are amazing. All of these things are a very short walk from the apartment.”

“We were a family of seven adults and six kids ages 7 months to 10 years the villa was equipped with everything we needed also high chair and baby cot games for outdoor play lg pool area plenty sun loungers and beach towels check in and communication was very efficient we only had two minor things we feel could have improved on .the bedding I assume was new for every check in but i personally prefer pillow slips and duvet covers and there was no spare bedding and travelling with kids you never……
