“Excellent accueil et lieu magnifique. Le restaurant est bon et le petit dejeuner sympathique. “Notre séjour à Casas da Estação a été parfait. L'accueil, les équipements (agrandissement de la piscine très appréciable, zones ombragées, etc.), le confort de l'appartement et les services (pain frais tous les matins derrière la porte !) sont professionnels. La région est splendide, contraste d’éléments naturels (chocs granitiques, chênes lièges, oliviers, etc.) ponctués de rares villages...dont Marvao (la perle encore peu fréquentée) et la belle découverte de Castelo de Vide. Point……

“El entorno de la casa tiene muchísimo encanto y eso compensa la dificultad para llegar. Hay que tener cuidado si se intenta acceder de noche con las indicaciones del GPS. Algunos colchones son mejorables y se sale a veces el agua de la ducha pero en general, muy bien todo.”

“It was a cute little apartment. Type unit was a huge balcony overlooking the river, which was beautiful. Had a very well kept kitchenette, a little living room area, bedroom, and bathroom. It was well decorated and a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely return”

“Nous avons aimé, la maison est bien situé et intime en même temps. Très belle propriété de campagne, belle vue du château. Nous avons été bien reçu par Louisa et Joao. Ils nous on guidé pour les activités local. Merci beaucoup pour ce beau séjour.”

“We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels……

“If you want peace and quiet at a good price then this will work for you. Easy access to good hikes. 15 minute drive to a couple of bigger towns and restaurants. Host gave good information about the area. Dogs friendly ”

“The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. Breakfast was good and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance by the river ( I think it’s owned by the same people). Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet town but has a good supermarket. Overall this was a very nice stopover and I’d gladly……
