Unlike cold motel rooms, this place had a lived-in feel that reflected the pride and love Jannifer, the host, provided. That evening the rising moon slowly smothered a sea of stars that captivated our attention and filled the night with a marvelous glow. “We enjoyed our stay, which included a bald eagle sighting. We rented kayaks from the owner, which was a nice way to explore the lake. The lake area by the dock was weedy, making it difficult to cast a fishing pole off the dock. The house was just as described with a lot of space for our family to sprawl out. The main shower, however, is small. We enjoyed the fire pit. Property also has a screened porch to allow time outdoors without mosquitoes. Very clean property!”
